We are a collective of everyday Australians from all walks of life who seek to permanently ban the recreational shooting of native waterbirds in Australia
Since 1993, a government advisory body, the Victorian Animal Welfare Advisory Committee (AWAC) has repeatedly recommended a ban on the recreational shooting of native waterbirds because of cruelty.
The Victorian government is yet to act on this advice.
NSW and Queensland governments banned duck shooting on advice from their AWACs, because of cruelty.
